Rachel Strickland joins the Friends Volleyball program this year as an Assistant Coach.

Rachel is a 2009 graduate of Friends University with a degree in Health and Fitness. She is currently earning her masters degree in Sports Management from Wichita State University.

While at Friends, Rachel was a 3-time All-KCAC selection in both volleyball and track. She was a 4-year starter and letter winner in volleyball and was part of Coach Ayin's first recruiting class at Friends. She received multiple KCAC Player of the Week and team honors. At middle blocker, she was a consistent conference leader in blocks and hitting percentage. Her senior season, she finished 18^th in the NAIA in hitting percentage and tallied 21 kills in a match against Sterling College.

In track, she was All-KCAC in the javelin three years and competed in three NAIA National Track and Field Championships.

Rachel is a 2005 graduate of Clearwater High School in Clearwater, Kansas where she competed in volleyball, basketball and track state championships.

Rachel is excited to share the knowledge she learned during her years at Friends to continue the success of the Falcon Volleyball program.
