Monty Lewis has 27 years of collegiate coaching experience and 18 of those years as a Head Coach. Coach Lewis holds an overall record of 118-55 placing the 4-time KCAC Coach of the Year, near the top of the NAIA for active wins and winning percentage.

Coach Lewis has compiled a 63-28 record in 9 seasons as the Falcon's Head Coach. With 3 consecutive KCAC Championships (2006, 2007, 2008) and 3 consecutive NAIA National Playoff appearances.

Prior to coming to Friends University, Lewis led teams to KCAC Championships 3 times '97, 98 and 99' and a Wheat Bowl Title in 1996.

Coach Lewis and his wife Nancy, who also works at the university, have two children, a daughter Shelby and a son Josh.
