For the first time in Friends University history, Falcon softball claimed the NAIA Region IV Tournament championship to advance to the NAIA National Championship Tournament. This year’s national tournament will be held at Wilson Morgan Softball Complex in Decatur, Alabama.
The Lady Falcons enter the tournament on an amazing 32 game winning streak, a regular season conference championship, a KCAC tournament championship, a NAIA Region IV tournament championship, and an overall record of 34-8.
The Lady Falcons begin pool play Friday, May 16 where they will face Lubbock Christian at 1 p.m. and Olivet Nazarene at 8:30 p.m. On Saturday, the Falcons will face College of Idaho at 1 p.m. and Trevecca Nazarene at 6 p.m.
