Friends University Falcon Athletics is a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) and is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). As part of the NAIA, Falcon Athletics is a proud participant of the NAIA Champions of Character initiative promoting respect, integrity, responsibility, servant leadership, and sportsmanship within all facets of its organization. Friends University has a total of 380 student athletes and consists of 15 athletic teams as well as dance and cheer programs. In the fall, the Falcons participate in football, volleyball, soccer (men's and women's), and cross country (men's and women's). In the winter, Friends hosts both men's and women's basketball. The spring season consists of baseball, softball, tennis (men's and women's), track & field (men's and women's), and golf.

 

In recent years, Friends University has undergone major renovation projects to expand and improve their athletic facilities. In fact, Friends University recently installed a state of the art Sportexe Momentum 46 brand turf system, which will accommodate both their football and soccer programs. This field sets in Friends' Adair-Austin Stadium, which also houses a "Eurotan S" Sandwich Track surface system, one of the best grades of track available. Falcon athletics is also home of the Garvey Center which accommodates its basketball and volleyball programs, as well as the Forrest C. Lattner Tennis Courts.
