2017 Women's Tennis Coaches

Sandy Nixon begins her second season as the head coach at Friends University, bringing over 30 years of coaching experience to the Falcons.

Nixon also serves as the head coach at Wichita West High School, starting the program five years ago. The Indians finished 8th in the Greater Wichita Athletic League in year one, and were fifth a season ago. In her 3rd year at West, she had a singles player qualify for the KSHSAA State Tournament.

Nixon actively plays on women's and mixed USTA sanctioned teams.

Nixon received her Bachelor's degree at Emporia State University where she was an All-American basketball player. She has been teaching and coaching for 32 years.
