Victor Garcia-Bebek
Head Coach

Victor Garcia-Bebek begins his third year at Friends University as Head Women's Soccer Coach.

From 2002-2009 Garcia-Bebek was the assistant coach for men's soccer at Newman University, an NCAA Division II institution. He assisted in scouting, recruiting, day-to-day operations and training the field players.

In his two seasons as head coach, Garcia-Bebek's teams have had success, with an overall record of 16-16-6. In his first season, the Falcons were picked to finish last in the pre-season conference poll, but they finished fifth with a record of 8-7-4 (3-2-4 in the KCAC.) In Bebek's second season, Friends had even more success, finishing third after being picked fifth. The Falcons went 5-3-1 in the KCAC. The team has reached the KCAC semi-final game in two consecutive seasons, losing to the eventual conference champion both times. Also in his time as coach, the Falcons have accrued many individual honors, including 12 All-KCAC players, 27 Athletic Director honor roll athletes, 6 NAIA Academic All-Americans, and several players of the week.

In 2003, Garcia-Bebek received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Newman University and continued to receive a Master in Business Administration with concentration in Leadership in 2007 also from Newman University.

Garcia-Bebek played lower, middle and high School, Club soccer as well as semi-professional soccer in Peru, South America. He also represented his High School internationally playing in Great Britain. In 2001, he moved to the United States to play college soccer for the Newman University. He helped the team to a MCAC Conference Championship and a Region IV Runner-up finish.

Garcia-Bebek was born and raised in Lima, Peru. He is married to Kimberly Davis and has two daughters, Navia and Emma.
