Wichita, Kan. - The KCAC Postseason softball tournament will begin on Wednesday, May 2nd in Hutchinson all games will be played at Fun Valley Softball Complex located at 4401 West 4th Street. The tournament will consist of all ten KCAC schools in a double elimination bracket.

In the opening round #3 Falcons(12-6 KCAC, 28-17 Overall) will take on #6 McPherson College Bulldogs(9-9 KCAC, 15-23 Overall) at Noon on Wednesday, May 2nd on Field three. Friends swept the Bulldogs earlier in the season 7-3 and 7-6.

Friends is led by junior pitcher Kelsey Garner. Garner finished the regular season with an ERA of 2.48, 23 wins and 173 strikeouts. Offensively the Falcons are led by Junior Cheyenne Stewart. She ended the regular season batting .382, 12 doubles, 9 home runs and 45 RBI's.

The Bulldogs are led by Katie Logan who leads the team with a .398 batting average, 8 homeruns and 22 RBI's. On the mound McPherson is led by Allison Love. She finished the regular season with 11 wins, 53 strikeouts and a 2.84 ERA.
