Kansas City, Mo. - the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced Quentin Benning as NAIA Field Athletd of the Week.

Benning, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, earned first place honors in three events and second-place status in the discus throw (143' 7"). At the Friends University Enduro Classic from March 30 - 31, his toss of 52' 1 ¾" took first among 15 competitors and also placed him eighth on the NAIA season chart. In the javelin, Benning hit a mark of 180' 6" for top honors and also was first in the hammer (128' 11").
