Cross Country - Mon, Oct. 10, 2011
Friends University Runners Matt Ditzler and Jordan Arnold have been named Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Cross Country Runners of the Week. Arnold finished 1st overall, while Ditzler finished 2nd finishes in Fort Hayes State University Tiger Open on Saturday. Both student athletes recorded personal bests and school records.
 
Men's Runner of the Week Matt Ditzler finished 2nd out of 152 runners in the Fort Hayes State University Tiger Open this week. Ditzler led the #14 Falcons with a 2nd place team finish. His 8,000 meter time of 24:41 was a new personal best as well as a new school record.
 
Women's Runner of the Week Jordan Arnold earns her second KCAC weekly award with a 1st place finish out of 99 runners in the Fort Hayes State University Tiger Open this week. Arnold led the #7 Falcons with a 1st place team finish. Her 5,000 meter time of 17:42 was a new personal best as well as a new school record. With this victory, she remains undefeated for the season as an individual and also she led her team to another championship and they are also undefeated on the season.
 
Next race for the Falcons will be the Saint Louis Invitational on October 22nd.
