Wichita, Kan. - In 2010, the women's soccer team had a positive season reaching the conference semi-finals for the second season in a row. This season, the Lady Falcons are looking to go even further.
Coaches from around the conference took part in the preseason coaches' poll on August 2nd, and the Friends women made a good showing, being selected in the top half of the KCAC. The team was selected to finish third, right behind Kansas Wesleyan and Ottawa University.
The women's soccer team opens the regular season at home against Benedictine College on September 3rd at 6 PM. The team is ready to compete, and it should be an exciting season for Friends University soccer.
