Wichita, KS - The Friends University men's and women's cross country teams were both selected in the NAIA Cross Country Top 25 Preseason Coaches' Poll, which was announced on August 25th.

The women were selected at number 22 in the nation, receiving 214 points. The Falcons were one of two teams from the KCAC in the rankings.

On the men's side, Friends will start in a three-way tie in the 25th ranking, with 113 overall points. Bryan College (Tenn.) and Cornerstone University (Mich.) are also in the 25 spot.

For both Falcon Cross Country teams, this season could be a very memorable one. With loads of talent and experience, both squads should be able to compete well at the conference level, as well as nationally.

The season begins on September 4th at the Wichita State University Invitational. The first regular season poll comes out on September 13th.
