Wichita, Kan. - As the Friends University spring sports wrap up another season one might wonder how all sports performed over the course of 2011-2012.

Several highlights for Falcon teams were noted as Men & Women Cross Country, Women's Basketball, and Men & Women Indoor/Outdoor Track all won KCAC championships.

Men's Soccer and Softball competed in championship games which decided national tournament appearances.

Over 55% of student athletes achieved a 3.0 or higher GPA for a term and over 40 student athletes were named as NAIA scholar athletes.

As each program finalizes plans for 2012-2013 Friends University Athletics is excited about the prospects of next year.

The support of the students competing in Athletics continues to be strong and consistent.

Over the course of the summer Friends University Falcon Athletics will attempt to bring you periodic updates on various sports.
