Wichita, Kan. - Six student athletes are competing in the 2012 Indoor NAIA Indoor Championship Meet in Geneva, Ohio. Seniors Javier Ceja, Jordan Arnold and Karissa Cominator advanced out of the preliminary rounds and into the finals.
 
Javier Ceja and Geovanni Popoca competed in the 5,000 meter race. Ceja finished the race crossing the line at 14:48.54 breaking a school record and advancing him into the finals. Senior Geovanni Popoca was unable to advance out of the preliminary round finishing 17th out of 24 runners at 15:07.92. Ceja will compete in the Finals on Saturday, March 4th.
 
Both Lady Falcons ran well on Thursday advancing to the Finals Saturday in the 5,000 meter race. Jordan Arnold finished the prelims in 9th place crossing the line at 17:49.02. Karissa Cominator placed three spots behind Arnold in 12th place finishing the race at 18:04.71. The finals will take place on Saturday, March 4th.
 
Tim Patterson will race in the 1 mile prelims today at 2:20 PM.
 
Cecilia Burley is scheduled to race in the finals on Saturday at 2:05 PM.
